OnTime is two go-to-market motions under one 42-year operator. Our Tri-State Asset Network moves LTL, final mile, FTL, and specialty freight on roughly 120 owned units across NY, NJ, and CT. Our Nationwide Specialty Brokerage extends that same operational discipline to high-touch lanes anywhere in the lower 48 — dispatched as if the freight were on our own truck, never thrown onto a load board.
The difference from generic 3PL brokerage is vertical expertise: we broker pharma cold chain, semicap cleanroom-grade, and battery hazmat because we understand what fails on those lanes and what documentation a shipper needs to prove it did not.
Lower-48 brokerage coverage
Origin or destination outside the tri-state asset footprint routes through brokerage. Coverage spans all four US regions across the contiguous 48 states.
Tri-state ZIP-to-ZIP moves run on our own LTL and final-mile network; out-of-footprint lanes are routed to brokerage automatically with a brokerage badge.

Brokerage authority & carrier-of-record distinction
On tri-state asset lanes OnTime is the carrier of record — the freight moves on our DOT authority (DOT #426583) and our own trucks. On nationwide specialty lanes OnTime acts as broker of record under our brokerage authority (MC #230563) and $75,000 BMC-84 surety bond, tendering to vetted carriers. Either way, you deal with one accountable desk.
